About Me

Hannah is a queer Scottish Theatre Designer and multidisciplinary artist based in London.  She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 

 

Hannah’s designs are based on playful and dynamic interaction between the space, audience, and actor, creating vibrant and abstracted sets often inspired by the imagination of children’s play spaces. Her work blends modern and traditional storytelling techniques. 

 

Her experience and interests for future work include children’s theatre, outdoor, immersive, and non-traditional theatre, rural touring, and sensory storytelling. 

 

Hannah is particularly interested in ecological and folklore practices and how they connect audiences and theatre makers to their local environment and accessible, immersive storytelling.
